Woah, a ghostly snapple bottle? Unbelievable!

A reflection of a Snapple bottle?

and cars parked on what appears to be the roof of a building?

Did this once before - this photo may be too dark to ID any of the cars. There's a car elevator in that garage, and they use every bit of space they have, including the roof.

No Snapple bottle that I saw .... Maybe one on the window ledge I didn't see.

It's a reflection in the glass. Only useful thing I could make out...

The red one is a Rav-4 and the ? one is an Odyssey. I think.

Chevy Suburban, Ford Explorer, Ford Escape, Toyota Rav 4, Another Ford Escape, Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes GL, Lincoln Navigator, Chevrolet Express. A couple that I can't quite make out though.

Pretty cool to stick them on the roof though, Haha.

You would not believe how creative they get storing cars here. Garages with cars parked inches from each other, rooftops used for storage, giant multi-level erector set outside storage facilities. When I stayed here once in 1999 I got to pull my own car onto a car elevator and ride up with it. The attendant backed it off though, and stored it in a dark corner of this old garage. There is a Hertz in the bottom level.

I've seen those awesome parking "wall" metal structures in Manhattan like the erector set ones you were describing. I've got a good picture of one which makes an awesome desktop background, Haha.

Send it along when you have a moment. I've seen more of them downtown (SoHo, Nolita) but there are plenty in the west 20s and 30s. I would want my car indoors, if I had one.

I'll try to pull it off my laptop when I get a chance! The other good thing is that it's hard to steal a car when it's a couple stories in the air.

Car thieves might not even be able to operate the elevator (hand controls, operated the one in my building, finesse required) much less get the car onto it before the police arrived.

Same thing goes for those who like breaking into peoples cars. Unless they're ninjas or something.
